Photo etched pins are produced by transferring logo or design onto surface of metal plate then using acid to cut into metal base to get logo/design imprinted, after that we clean extra acids and impurities, set accessory, make electroplating or fill enamel/add epoxy, final pin can be very similar to die struck enamel pin but it is more cost effective, and sometimes, when the enamel pin is very large and needs to be thin & light weight, photo etching processing will be better choice.
